Käringsunds Camping

Live near the sea. The Käringsund Camping is situated near the sea and the old fishing village in Käringsund, Eckerö - on the sunny side of Åland.
You'll have access to shower, wc, kitchen, a private beach, a playground with a popular trampoline and a volleyball field. Käringsund have a fisherman's party a couple of times a week during high season. About 100 trout are let out each time and you'll have a fairly good chance of catching your own dinner. You may prepare your fish in our fish smoker on the beach - bon appetite!

In the area there is a restaurant (during 17/6 – 8/8) which serves grilled and Tex Mex dishes and snacks. The restaurant serves also coffee, ice cream and soft drinks. In the camping’s reception is a kiosk with groceries. In the area there are 15 overnight cabins and a family sauna. Welcome!

* Visit the Eckerö Hunting and Fishing museum
* Go for a wildlife safari and see the wild boars, deer and ostriches.
* Rent a bike, canoe, rowboat or a water bike.
* Play tennis or mini-golf.
* Play at the new 9-hole course at Eckerö Golf or their nice 18-hole short-hole course.
